  1. Dear Friends,

My grandmother, Nora Dennehy, left Mill Street for Boston, Massachusetts at age 14 in the 1888. I note the recent passing of a Nora Dennehy of your parish, and wonder if her family and mine are closely connected.

I had the great pleasure of bringing my father, Nora’s son, Walter Scanlon to Mill Stret on the 1980’s and the rector was kind enough to find my grandmother’s baptismal record for us. That meant a great deal to my. Dad, and to me.

If the family of the recently deceased Nora Dennehy is interested in being in contact, please forward this to them. I live in western New York State (near Niagara Falls).

    Faithfully yours,
    Sue Scanlon
