  1. We, Japanese students at Denenchofu-Futaba don’t know how to thank her enough for all the kindness, warmth and endless smiles she has given to us Japanese students. I myself was given English lessons since kindergarten, and so was my daughter. It has been more than 50 years since I met her first. I was a pen-pal with Rosari, her niece, for a while. I wondering how she is now.
I pray for Sr Paschal’s happiness in heaven. She could not have lived a better life. We were so deeply influenced by her existence at our school. Thank you so very much.

  2. A life less ordinary: Spending time with the last Irish missionary nun in Japan.

James Creedon (@JamesCreedonF24), a journalist based in Paris for France 24, spent a year recording the memories of his elderly cousin Sr.Paschal (a Drishane nun), the last Irish missionary nun in Japan. As he turns the footage into a documentary, he tells her story.
