Bishop Ray Browne Meets With the People of Millstreet

Bishop Ray got a wonderfully enthusiastic reception as he warmly greeted the people of Millstreet this past weekend.  Having concelebrated the 11.30 a.m. Mass with Canon John Fitzgerald, P.P. and Fr. 10Bishop Ray Browne Greets the People of Millstreet 2013 -8003Bishop Ray Browne Greets the People of Millstreet 2013 -800Bishop Ray especially commented on the beauty of our Church and its magnificent stained glass windows.  When he was presented with one of our local postcards he showed very real interest in getting to know the various areas illustrated.   Hopefully when he has more time he will take the fuller tour of Millstreet and become more acquainted with its rich history, culture and, above all, its people.   Everyone wished Bishop Ray every success and fulfilment in his new role as Bishop of Kerry.   Here we share further images of Sunday’s visit.

      1. I will have to check that out. Since I have visited Millstreet I enjoy this website even more. It is my window into everyday life in Ireland.
