Very Successful Presentation at Monday’s Boherbue’s “Music Room”
Eithne O’Keeffe (on right) presented a wonderfully delightful programme of music and song at the exquisite setting of “The Music Room” in the Pearse Memorial Hall, Boherbue on Monday night while Maura Sheehan superbly coordinated the playing of the twenty melodic discs – all to an enthusiastic audience of twenty-four people. An uplifting vote of thanks was beautifully expressed. Everyone has favourites from such a programme – My two choices would be “Amour et Amitié” sung by Gilbert Becaud and “Tower of Song” sung by Leonard Cohan.
