Good Friday and Fr. O’Mullane – Tradition in Kilcorney Cemetery

Since Fr. O'Mullane died in 1891 there has been a tradition of pilgrimage to his grave in Old Kilcorney Cemetery very especially on Good Friday. When I visited on this Good Friday (29th March 2013) four people were praying at dusk at Fr. O'Mullane's grave. Many would attribute healing through his intercession. His extraordinary story had been described in local Journals over the years. Great credit is due to the Kilcorney people who take care of this much regarded grave. (S.R.)
