Our Active retired Group held their tenth Anniversary Ball last week. It was a truly spectacular event, with just under 100 people attending. Mass was celebrated in the parish church by Canon John Fitzgerald and it was followed by a gala evening, at the Wallis Arms Hotel. The dance floor was busy all night while the patrons showed off their skills with old time dances and beautiful new ones that we’ve never seen before. It all went to prove that retirement has a lot to offer, in fact it’s the way to go if you really want to enjoy life.  So, long may our Actively Retired Group continue to flourish.
