Blessed with a fine evening, with horses, calves and colourful flowers adding to the atmosphere on Clara Road – the exciting event attracted an enthusiastic audience observing from Clara Road Bridge as Michael Murphy and Eric Hickey released hundreds of plastic ducks that flowed gently down to the finishing point under the Bridge. The success of the event and the funds raised seems to point to the occasion becoming an annual event. John Tarrant captured some excellent pictures for the “Corkman”.
