The first Karaoke Competition ever  held by our Town Development group was an outstanding success at the Wallis Arms Hotel on Friday night. The house was packed and there was no shortage of competitors with mostly every business in the area putting up a contestant. With all  age groups taking part. Fancy dress was optional and our rather reserved chemist Tom Mulcahy swept us off our feet dressed in full Elvis attire and singing Elvis songs. Needless to say the won first prize in his category. Young lassies in skimpy attire were winners as Spice Girls. Ronan FitzGerald, Minor Row and

Brien O Leary were winners also. Look up the website for the full list.

O’Leary butchers cooked up some delicious burgers etc and the Wallis Arms Hotel did well also. So there were lots of winners on the night and  well done to our Development Group.
