A Most Enjoyable 25 Year Class Reunion at Wallis Arms Hotel on Friday

Some of the wonderfully dedicated organisers of the hugely successful 25 Year Class Reunion held at the Wallis Arms Hotel on Friday, 25th May 2012 pictured at the occasion. The official cake was cut in the presence of the many past-pupils and teachers who attended the most memorable evening. (S.R.)

Many truly enthusiastic past-pupils had travelled long distances to be present for the great occasion.   Principal, Ken Brennan as well as teachers Colman Culhane, Peadar Ó Ceallaigh and Derry Morley were also present with apologies from Patricia Kelly and Fr. Declan O’Connor.   Earlier in the day two wreaths had been placedon the graves of two people from the original Class who sadly has since gone to their Eternal Reward.   Here we share a selection of images from the very special night which has been splendidly organised.   Following the very fine meal, the cake was cut, an address by key organiser, Elaine and also by Ken Brennan.   A group photograph was taken and 96FM’s P.J. Coogan provided a night of memorable and excellent music with lots of great dancing by the participants.   The Draw was a further feature where many prizes had been kindly sponsored.    The organisers expressed heartfelt appreciation and thanks to everyone (including the Management of the Wallis Arms Hotel) who helped to make the occasion so very successful. For those who were unable to attend, you missed a fabulous night but I am sure you will enjoy looking at the wonderful photos and identifying who everyone is.
It was great seeing everybody, teachers and fellow students and everybody looking so radiant.
