National Schools participating in the May Day Quiz included Clondrohid, Carriganima, Kilcorney, Cullen, Presentation N.S. Millstreet, Derrinagree and Cloghoula to mention but some. The youngest participant was Amy McDonagh (aged 9) of Carriganima. The Teachers’ Draw was won by Helen McAuliffe of Presentation N.S., Millstreet. While the Students’ Draw winners were: Grace O’Connor, Presentation N.S., Millstreet; Seán O’Leary, Clondrohid; Finbarr Hurley, Derrinagree; Dervla Murphy, Presentation N.S., Millstreet; Dan Crowley, Kilcorney and Isobel McSweeney, Presentation N.S., Millstreet. The First Prize for Winning School – a Mini White Board Class Set was partly sponsored by Sligograph.
