  1. Brendans son Tim writes the Millstreet Celtic match reports here on millstreet.ie. Our condolences to him and all the Kiely family – from the admins.

  2. Our heartfelt and sincere sympathy to all the Kiely Family. Brendan was a true gentleman who was so very approachable and wonderfully obliging. His dedication as Teacher, Principal and INTO Representative at national level was a very real souce of inspiration to many. His superb promotion of INTO Summer Courses resulted in some of the largest Summer Courses in Ireland. As Family man and as Sportman Brendan excelled. He has so enriched all of the lives of those of us who were so very privileged to have known such a true Millstreet man in every respect. In time when the History of Millstreet Town Park is written Brendan will very especially be remembered for his splendid commitment to its great development in recent years. 3. On behalf of my brother Fred and myself, I would like to offer our most sincere condolences to all the Kiely family. As children, in the 1950s, we spent all summer at my Grandfather’s house, 3 West End, and knew Brendan and his family during those happy and carefree days.

May the Lord have mercy on his soul.
