HOLY GHOST MISSIONS: will be visiting Millstreet Parish on 14th & 15th August and will be assisting with Masses over the weekend.

MONTH’ S MIND MASS: for Margaret Casey (nee Twomey), Brookpark & San Francisco will be held on Thursday (12th Aug) at 8.00p.m. in Kilcorney Church.

Community Notices

v MILLSTREET PIPE BAND: New members are now being enrolled every Friday night at 9.00p.m. at the Bank Practice Centre (near Youth Centre). All are very welcome.

v FÁS VACANCY: Vacancy for Clerical Assistant on Fás Community Employment Project must be registered with Fás and meet certain criteria. Phone (029) 70926 for details.

v CULLEN & DISTRICT SPECIAL NEEDS ASSOCIATION: Meeting on Monday (9th) at 8.00p.m.

v IRISH CANCER SOCIETY: Heartfelt thanks to all who so generously contributed to last weekend’s Church Gate Collection. The amount collected: €2,829.41

v IRD DUHALLOW HEITAGE WEEK 2010: As part of Heritage week IRD Duhallow is hosting a Public Exhibition on the “1938 Irish Folklore Commission National Schools Project” which schools in Duhallow took part in. Exhibition will take place on Tuesday 24th & Wednesday 25th August in James O’Keeffe Institute, Newmarket between 2.00 – 10.00p.m.

v TAX RELIEF FORMS: During the past few weeks letters have been issued to those who have generously donated €250 or over during the year 2009. We thank those who have returned completed forms to the Parish Office and we are asking the remainder to please return the CHY2 Certificate (for PAYE workers) or the Reply Form (for Self-employed) by August 13th.
