MILLSTREET BOY WINS ALL-IRELAND MEDAL AT FLEADH CHEOIL NA H’ÉIREANN
15 year old Tadgh O’Sullivan won an All-Ireland medal when the Cross Fields ceili band of which he is a member, became All-Ireland champions at the recent Fleadh Cheoil in Cavan.

On Saturday 20th August the Crossfields Ceili Band were crowned All-Ireland Ceili Band champions. This band is the first ceili band ever from Freemount Comhaltas to win an under age ceili band competition. There were scenes of joy in the dome when the Crossfields were All-Ireland champions. Members are from across the fields of Burnfort, Kiskeam, Boherbue, Liscarroll, Millstreet, Dromagh and Abbeyfeale.
The members are Darragh O’Donnell from Abbeyfeale on drums along with Eddie Kiely, Boherbue(fiddle), Orlaith McAuliffe, Kiskeam(fiddle), Kate O’Gorman, Boherbue(fiddle), Cormac O’Hanlon, Burnfort(fiddle), Marie O’Gorman, Boherbue(flute), Donnacha O’Hanlon, Burnfort(flute), Micheal Healy,Dromagh(accordion), Tadgh O’Sullivan, Millstreet(concertina) and Niamh Fitzpatrick from Liscarroll on piano.
