This is the week of the Summer Horse Show in the Green Glens.

From the Irish Independent: “The Horse Show begins next Wednesday, with 5,000 entries and over 800 horses stabled on the site. A huge audience is expected at the Co Cork venue.”

With this there will be an influx of horse lovers to the Millstreet area over the next week, with the first lorries having already arrived this morning. For all information on the show, see millstreethorseshow.ie

Indeed there was also good news for the show this week as the Duggans were on the good end of a ruling by the Irish Competition Authority on a long standing issue with Showjumping Ireland that threatened to keep some of the best riders and horses away from Millstreet.
