Members of Millstreet Macra present at the recent launch of the new Millstreet Directory of Community Services in Millstreet Community School.
Margaret Crean was the MC while Áine Collins, T.D. officially launched the Directory in the presence of a sincerely interested audience. Nora O’Connell and Rita Buckley as well as a wonderfully committed team of voluntary helpers must take a huge bow for having achieved such success in the overall project. Here we meet the many very helpful people who had arranged to place stands in the School Library where they very comprehensively offered advice and excellent guidance on the various relevant community services. The Directory is available free of charge in Millstreet Post Office and Millstreet Library as well as from any member of the Co-ordinating Committee. LTV2 recorded the occasion for later transmission. (S.R.)
