One of three energetic groups of people from far and wide participating in Millstreet's Walking Festival 2011 assembling at the Square, Millstreet at 10 a.m. today.
The Organisers of Millstreet Walking Festival 2011 would have been very pleased to have had 150 participants at its very first festival. With some 200 registering this morning they must be quite thrilled with such a wonderful response. The three groups of Walkers return to the Wallis Arms Hotel around 1 p.m. for much appreciated refreshments, a set dancing workshop, international sport on the big screen and some magnificent traditional music from the Millstreet Branch of CCÉ. There will be much focus on Millstreet Country Park tomorrow for the dedicated Walkers.
