Join Ireland’s best adventure race - a new challenge. With a varied mix of challenging on road biking, off road running and a short kayak section, it is set to get the hearts racing on either the 65km MonsterMAC EXPERT category or somewhat easier 35km SPORT category.
Set in and around Millstreet Country Park, the route follows parts of the scenic Cork/Kerry Duhallow Way, in this well designed, often challenging, sometimes gruelling, never boring course. Incorporating a steep offroad run to the top of Mushramore, which offers superb views of the surrounding countryside. With a bike trail weaving along narrow country roads through some of Ireland’s most unspoilt countryside, this challenge will start and finish at the foothills of Munster’s Boggeragh Mountains in the unique Millstreet Country Park. Be first to complete the short dash or dunk to finish at the Crannog lake….
The race is on next April, so there’s plenty of time to prepare. Full details are available on the MonsterMAC website. If anyone wishes to be put on a mailing list, just send a message to Marie Griffin
