Looks like Summer is Here guys….. and our Mid Summer Bank Holiday Weekend at Millstreet Country Park is brimming with family fun ideas and entertainment for all ages.

If you are looking for a great day out this June Bank Holiday Weekend come along to Millstreet Country Park. Why not bring a picnic to enjoy? Or if that is not your thing taster our culinary delights in our Good Food Ireland accredited Café and Restaurant. Outdoor BBQ Evening Sunday 6th June serving some of the finest local meat produce. Full Restaurant service all weekend and lunch available both Bank Holiday Sunday and Monday. A 25% Rebate on admission available all weekend with each €30 spent in Restaurant. So why not eat out? What’s happening for Kids?

Activity co-ordinator Claire has lots to keeps your little ones (and big ones too) entertained. Our new MCP Mega Obstacle Course and Dare to Walk the Plank Challenge has been a tremendous hit and favourite with all our school tour groups thus far. Lots fun games and activities scheduled for both Bank Holiday Sunday and Monday including Kite Flying, Hula Hooping Challenge, Tug of War, Penalty Shoot Outs, and old favourites including Duck Racing and Treasure Hunts! Plantaholic?

All our gardens are now coming into full bloom and looking great with our spectacular new water feature Mont des Arts (Millstreet) the centre show piece. Group Guided Garden Tours are now available and led by our head gardener or special guests. Please note Advanced Booking is required. Garden Talks and Workshops will commence shortly. On the Farm

Our cutest new arrivals (baby deer) are out in the deer paddocks for all to see and admire. The first calf (female – Magdaleine ) was born on Friday 14^th May at 8am. Why not take a safari tour of the park on your next visit and visit Magdaleine at Millstreet Country Park and all her new born friends?

Going to the Races

Millstreet Country Park will be present in the Good Food Ireland Village at the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby Festival at the Curragh Racecourse Kildare Friday 25^th June – Sunday 27^th. Ireland’s top chefs, cheese makers, master smokers and other favourite food heroes will be on hand selling great value food.

Other News

Our resident pianist Mr Neil Moylan will perform each Sunday from 2pm – 5pm in the Visitor Centre. Millstreet Country Park is open daily from 10am – 7pm. Our cafe & restaurant will also be open daily for June from 10am – 6.00pm Mon – Fri and until 6.30pm on weekends. We will very shortly be announcing our presence on FACEBOOK (once text and all pics are up) and we will encourage and prompt you all to be friends of Millstreet Country Park.
