Vodafone Ireland who recently took over BT Telecom in Ireland have been investigating bottlenecks in their broadband networks. Millstreet (along with other towns) was identified as slowing down considerably in the evenings (too many pictures on millstreet.ie 😉 ), and has been upgraded in the last few days to sort out this problem. So if you are with Vodafone and have noticed that the internet has been slow in the evenings, then hopefully your problems have been sorted. Now, if we could only get broadband to outlying areas like Rathcoole (which have big problems at the moment), it would be of benefit to all.
