Fondest greetings dear listeners and I wish you all the very best on  the second day of March and it is foggy and cold, but very calm.

A very successful Coffee morning was held by Particia Guerin at the GAA Hall on Friday last, which raised   over € 1,500, Patricia , who is well known for her great work on behalf of the needy, would like to say many thanks to all those who  helped her with the venture  and supported it.

The money will be shared between The Church Restoration Fund, The Haiti Fund and the fund for Baby Jacob. Well done Patricia.

Tickets are on sale now for the Community Council Awards Social which will be held at the Wallis Arms Hotel on Friday March 12th. and can be bought from any member.

At the weekly Weigh In in Cullen last night 56 people weighed in and 108 pounds weight was lost, continues again next week.

Millstreet enjoyed success at the Duhallow Scór na bPaistí finals  at the Edel Quinn Hall, Kanturk last Sunday.
Taking outright honours were a novelty act team while James Linehan added a win in solo music.
The Millstreet Novelty Act goes forward to the county semi final in Rossmore on this Friday night at 7.30pm.
Millstreet hosts a semi final of the Munster Senior Scór  in Millstreet GAA Community Hall on Sunday next at 3pm.

Finally, well done to our Transition year students and some teachers and friends who spent  all of last night out in the cold,in our church grounds, to raise awareness and money, for  homeless people everywhere.Their fund is still open. Please support them well.

Here are the results of this weeks parish lotto draw which was held at McCarthys Bar on Sunday night. Numbers drawn were 13, 14, 20, 22, and the jackpot was not won. €100 went to Patricia  O Callaghan, Bolomore.
