DO THIS IN MEMORY OF ME:  The fourth night of the special parish based programme for parents and children preparing for First Holy Communion, May 2010, is taking place at the Vigil Masses in both Millstreet and Cullen next weekend (Saturday 23rd) and in Ballydaly on Sunday (24th).  All children and parents doing the programme are invited to attend.

v      CULLEN SPECIAL NEEDS:  Annual sponsored weigh-in postponed until 1st February.

v      farewell party:  for Fr. O’Leary in Cullen postponed until further notice.

v      MILLSTREET CAMOIGE CLUB: Annual General Meeting on Wednesday (20th Jan) at 8.00p.m. in GAA Hall.  Everyone welcome

v      ballydaly community:  Meeting on Tuesday (19th Jan) at 8.00p.m. to arrange a presentation to Fr. Gerard O’Leary.  Everyone welcome.

v      millstreet library: Cork County Library has granted a “total fines amnesty” until 30th January, 2010.  No fines no matter how late.

v      Millstreet Gramophone circle:  This months presentation will take place on Friday (22nd Jan) at 8.15p.m. in the Canon O’Donovan Centre.  This month’s presenter: Donal Cowman.

v      “A Millstreet miscellany (3)”:  Another collection of items on Millstreet town and its environs is now available in local shops.  It is dedicated to Sean Radley in recognition of his services to Millstreet.
