MARCH	National Tree Week 1st to 7th March	Plant native species. Enjoy a woodland walk.
MARCH	Green Schools	2008 Winners Announced. Ballydaly National School (Rathduane) was awarded the Green Flag Status. A super achievement. Well Done!
APRIL	National Spring Clean 11th anniversary	Organise a ‘Clean Up’ of your local area, to take place any time during April. Great Turnout last year!: National Spring Clean encourages us all to actively participate and take responsibility for our own areas. Clean up kits are available from members of the Committee
	‘Tuesday Clean Up’	Tuesday evening work to recommenced on 21st April. Work consists of litter picking, weed killing, flowerbed cleaning, planting & painting. All welcome. Keep in Mind……this year’s competitions. Fantastic Prizes! Best Residential Frontage Best Estate Best Business Frontage

MAY	Anti- Litter Competition (Cork Co. Council)	Judging Commences with spot- checks on a fortnightly basis. Estates nominated for special consideration this year are.... MURPHY'S TCE & TANYARD WOOD

JUNE	REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE	Judging continues with litter spot- checks continuing on a fortnightly basis. So...Keep up the great work!
